Welcome!!

The PA Kappa chapter of Pi Beta Phi now presents our very own blog! We will use this blog as a resource for our alumni and for our parents to keep them updated on the events we are doing. Every week, a couple of sisters will be featured in our "Sister Spotlight" and they will write a few sentences about why Pi Phi is so important to them.

We are all really excited about this blog and we hope you enjoy it!!

Welcome back!

All of the in-house chapter members are officially moved in and we are all getting ready for classes to begin tomorrow. All of the new additions to the house are so excited to live here for the first time.. It is hard to believe that summer has passed and we are entering school-mode again, but I think we all agree that we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Farewell Seniors! We'll miss you!

At our Senior Farewell Dinner in April, complete with a delicious meal from our chef, Carol, it was seemingly unreal that the seniors were graduating. Now that the seniors have officially graduated (CONGRATS!), it has sunk in that they will not be there when the rest of Pi Phi returns in August. While we could not possibly miss them more, we are confident that they will all visit more frequently than not, and we know that they are moving on to great jobs or other great schools.
Nevertheless, WE WILL MISS YOU ALL!

Sisters Only Zumba Lesson

Yesterday as a "Sisters Only" event, we hosted a local Zumba teacher in our house to lead anyone who wanted to participate in a Zumba class. Everyone started out a little hesitant, but by the second song we all couldn't care less about how ridiculous we might have looked. It was so much fun that we are thinking about hosting the same teacher again next month or at least in the very near future! Who knew working out could be so fun?!

Pi Day!

Pi Phi's VP Philanthropy worked really hard through the entire Spring Semester to plan an all-day Pi Day extravaganza on March 14. It differed slightly from Pi Phi's typical annual Pi Day events. In addition to the "Pie a Pi Phi" event where passersby could donate $2 towards our national philanthropy and then (gently) throw a whipped-cream pie in the face of their favorite Pi Phi, people could also donate $3 and receive a raffle ticket to be entered to win a bakery-made apple cake. We also sold t-shirts for the event, which were a huge hit around the entire Lehigh campus, Greeks and non-Greeks alike. Pi Phi met and exceeded their monetary goal and the entire campus got involved and really enjoyed one of the first nice days of Spring!
